It's called the Zoo Emma!

Emma has been saying we are going to the beach for days. Some how the beach and the Zoo are the same thing? We had fun with the Ekarlind's today and it was special for Aron their little boy because it was his 1st bday! Lots of fun in the sun, yes it was rather warm. Enjoy the pics!

The last picture was daddy's favorite. He was rather pumped about it and thanks to Steve Irwin our children loved the snake....mommy passed up the creepy white snake this time!

To go or not to go that is the question?????

So here is my ponderings when I get a second of free time.(It truly is only a second, but not I am blogging it so it is like 5 min. now!)

The big 10yr high school reunion is around the corner! I know you didn't think I was that old, it's OK. I am not I started school at 2yrs old so that puts in at what 20 something???heheh. So I am flattered that I got invited to it, because technically I didn't graduate with that class. I home schooled with our church school the last 2yrs of high school. Still played sports there and all that. So I would love to get to see everyone and hear what everyone is doing that is for sure! Here is the dilemma. Do I want to spend like 450 dollars to do the trip up to MN for the reunion? To maybe tons of people will be getting to drunk to even really talk to. I am not a partier, or a gambler.(it's at a casino)I don't mind being there to visit and all that. But just weighing the cost of it all. Could get some really good chances to chat with people. Yet I honestly might rather spend the money one going to see one of my best friends. Whom I know I will have a blast with!

To go or not to go????Just don't know. Like Keri weighing her "Beth Moore Conf" decision, I sit and go back and forth! Well I got a month to decide. What to do. Give your 2 cents, please.

32 to 5 we lost...can I get a time out?

32 kids to 5 adults, I would like a time out please! I sit totally exhausted feeling like I failed a little bit tonight. At what I am not sure. But managing 32 kids 6 weeks to 5yrs old is no easy task. The night was rough. I am sure all the others I worked with could see the stress all over me. 2 workers didn't show, yada yada right? I am tired, and I work in the morning. Let's hope that the hit Emma took on the head tonight is fine in the morning. Seriously, she needs to be better in the morning! On the verge here people....every mom shouted...AMEN!

Glad you could take a little venting. I was wondering can I get put in time out? Might be kinda nice with a little alone time.

The heros of the day!

I would like to honor today's hero's! My brother and sister in law, Johan and Malin! Congrats on the new little life that you brought into this world! That is not a small task, and the only word that comes to mind is HERO! Congrats to you both, the hero's of today and proud parents for a lifetime to the sweetest baby girl! You understand very quickly when you hold your tiny baby that truly children are a inheritance from the Lord. Welcome to the family little one! I will leave all the details and name for the Hero's to brag about in their respective blogs!

Facebook, Myspace, blogger....feeling as scatter brained as I am???

Now I have all 3 are you satisfied? I am lagging back in the cyber communications race that is for sure! Giving in to what the "main stream" is doing. Trying my hardest to stay in touch with the outside world.

I rate my findings:

Blogging I give a 8 leaning to 9. Pictures with the blog is like a picture book! Come on who doesn't enjoy a book with pictures? Anyone can comment.

Myspace I give a high 7. To bad you need to have an account to comment. But gotta love all the music, videos and cool backgrounds.

Facebook- I give a 5. If that, I am little disappointed in the features. Kinda boring, but GREAT network of friends. Now I have seen tons of my international buddies again! That is worth the trouble of creating an account.

What is next........Can I handle a fourth account to manage?

Can you hear the Chariots of Fire theme song......as I run the race in slow motion? That is how I feel in all this cyber communication!

As the Up side Down show says "Use your imaginary remote, and hit fast forward!!!" Maybe that will help.

Oh the joys of motherhood. I will live up to the sterotype of a typical mom. Talking once again about poop, puke and other fluids. Just for my own stress relief!





What to say and how to word it. I could lose a few of my readers. Wake up 1:15am, Peter throwing up in bathroom. Way to start the day. Wake up 6:30am, time to start the day solo. I have the gut feeling I am not going to be making it to the office today. Erik has not really stopped having diarrhea, he bit another child at church yesterday,and is pulling at his ears. Grr, walk -in doctor's visits are alot of fun. Proudly, uncaffineated I went off for the morning rounds. Julia at school and we were off to the doctor. I was amazed that the doctor's appt. went so well. Other than Emma spilling a cup of water on the examination table and throwing a mini tantrum we were good! Next order of the day STOOL collection. Let's all say it together " AHHHHH YUCK"!Bad enough to be changing nasty diapers for the past 10 days now I get the honor of being a human pooper scooper! I got a small laugh as they handed over a little bed pan for Erik to use. I was like, obviously they have not a clue that a 15 month old baby thinks that is a giant hat, not a potty! It is all said and done now and we just wait and see if there is any funkiness in Erik's tummy.





I just had a flashback to a song I sang when I "auditioned" for the church choir once. In everything give Him thanks...in the bad times praise His Name, in everything give the King of Kings all the thanks.......people would roll laughing to see a real time camera in my home. Singing while I scoop poop into a specimen bottle... that is what is all about right?





Have a very "regular" day. get it....?? If no, then forget it!

No time for a full shower. It was a hair wash in the sink with 3 kids scurrying around my feet. Knowing full well I would've needed to disinfect myself before going to church tonight. (after what I have been thru)But it was not meant to be. Any multi tasking mom knows that what you want to accomplish and actually DO are to different things. So I sit and wait 10 min. till Peter comes in the door and we high-five and switch places. Me off to work, daddy's turn. Today I would like not to have to deal with children, but His grace is sufficient today too. After being sick over the weekend and then Erik getting a nasty bug too, mommy doesn't want to be barfed on or pooped on or coughed on or have her shirt used as a giant tissue. Mommy want nappy. Sorry that was baby talk for ME TIRED. Sorry, I can't speak adult tonight.
