Until we meet again Tulsa

I sit here at almost 1am and can barely see straight! I felt a deep sense of responsibility to Tulsa....and that I had to say goodbye. However I couldn't muster up the courage to say goodbye. So it will be a farewell note.

To my Tulsa,

I have found love and joy in your boundaries.Security unspeakable in finding my place. I discovered treasure lay deep with in this city. More than just people, more than just friends. Tulsa you became my home. I vowed I never would come here more less love it and stay. God smiled, and gave me the nudge...so I came. The lessons I have learned here have made me into a much stronger woman. Because of this comfort and security it makes it hard to leave. I could stay forever.....but the calling is great and my obedience steadfast. So I take the steady steps on to the road. Out from your safety, out from your arms. God has given you to me, like a potter molds the clay. Thanks Tulsa for teaching me more than I could ever try to explain.

To end my farewell note I need to say. My heart holds a dear, dear place for every one of you who enriched my life while here. You all have placed a great part in my life.Thank you. I miss you so much it sounds very shallow to even say miss. It hurts, that seems to make the feeling. We love you all and hope to meet again soon.

OXOXOX

Erik the Brave

The award for Braveness goes to Erik

The award for Not crying goes to Mommy

The award for being most supportive goes to Daddy

Here is Erik before he got tubes in his ears today. It was a breeze it all went really well. I was so proud of him and myself. I have been so teary eyed lately I thought for sure I would loss it. We got our giggles as he was just waking up and tried to eat a Popsicle, except he could get it into his mouth he just kept missing and hitting his eye or chin! Oh little buddy-you are to cute!

Travel hang over

It's official, you can get a hang over from just traveling! No alcohol involved, just airplane apple juice! It is no wonder I feel the way I do this morning after the marathon I have just run! I feel sad only about one thing, I was so busy I only took two pictures. Serious 2 pictures-that is out of character for me. That tells you how busy I was. Tues. started at 4am and ended around 11:30 pm. I was wasted. Wed. morning was 7:00 am till midnight and I only got a cat nap on the way home. To sum up the trip would be to say "I was happily insanely busy".We will see what comes of the job interview but regardless it was alot of fun and got to meet many wonderful people.

We got a house!!!! We secured a rental home which we had our heart set on =). That was picture #1 I took as I ran literally thru the house and checked it out, I thought I can't leave without taking one pic for the kids mostly. So here it is.I will not even go into the story of getting the security deposit to them!!!Gotta love Bank of America's ever so strict anti theft protection plan-locked my card down and refused to fix it for me to do to some error (that is the mild version). But Thank the Lord, we figured it out! Here is pic number 2- I couldnt help but stare what was in my rear veiw mirror. I was blown out of my mind at God's creation.

Now it is off to work. Let's coffee can put a slight damper on travel hang over for today maybe a good nights sleep will help as well!

Happy Mudder's day

I think this was the best Mother's Day yet! Filled with surprises! Julia woke me up with a bag filled with crafts they made at school. I got a bunch of little things from my sweetheart, and the day ended with a surprise date to a great Chinese restaurant! Thanks guys for a Mudder's Day!

Happy Bonus Year

This year Peter got what he could only have dreamed for.....he got a bonus year on his birthday. He and I (hehehe) realized he was turning 32 not 33 and thus giving him another year at 32. He will love me for this picture-

Grandpa is here!!!

We didn't waste time putting Grandpa to work! He had 2 great assistants working with him in the front yard. His reward was paid in scoops of ice cream and hugs from the kids =)
